Riding dates first, flights second

If you are planning from abroad, start with the riding. During the season the MX-Academy rides in Dubai almost every day, and you pick the date. Fix the riding days first and book flight and hotel afterwards, so that nothing clashes. The flight from Switzerland is around six hours long, and a long weekend is enough for a first experience on the track.

You can also leave part of the planning to the MX-Academy and book the MX package, or organise travel and accommodation yourself and reserve only the riding. Choosing the offer and the date works the same way in both cases.

Choose your offer before the trip

Decide what you would like to ride before you write, because the offer determines how many days you need in Dubai. A first-timer can start on the track on day one, while a desert ride needs training on the track beforehand. These are the main options:

From confirmation to your first riding day

You receive a confirmation for your date, or a proposal for another one if it is already taken. Book your flight and hotel once the riding days are fixed. If a desert ride is part of your trip, plan the training on the track before it: roughly three days for riders new to off-road, and a minimum of one sand day for those who have ridden off-road before.

Group and private lessons include everything: the bike, your gear, the coach, the fuel, drinking water and the track fee. On the riding day you pick up your kit and your bike, and your coach takes you onto the track, in your group or one to one. Riders with their own bike and gear book coaching only and pay a track fee of AED 100 per day, and desert riders add AED 50 per day as a convenience fee.

Group days, friends and families

Travelling as a group of friends or colleagues? A group day in Dubai can be arranged on the date you choose, from two riders upwards. Tell the team the size of the group, the ages and the experience, and you get a programme on the track or, after sand training, in the desert.

Families can book their children in the same request. The youngest riders can join at four, on bikes sized for children, and those up to 12 ride at lower rates. Give the age and height of each child, so the team can plan a bike and protective gear that fit.

Prices, terms and vouchers

Rates are listed in AED for each rider and are valid locally in Dubai; flights and hotels come on top. Before your first session, read the rules of participation and the general terms and conditions, both linked as PDF files.
